It all started back in the Summer of 2005. I was designing a website for a fire company that I volunteered with. The website was a huge success and we decided that we should take things a step further, so we decided to produce a video to help market our department.

When I finished creating the video, it was brought to my attention that I should add credits at the end of the video to give recognition for all my hard work. In the spirit of the aggressiveness and pride of the fire company that I served in, Wide Slam Open Video Productions was born.

I've since left the fire department to pursue my dream, and here it is. My only regret is that I didn't start this company years ago. Wide Slam Open became an official business in late April of 2007, although It has been around and well known since 2005 when we created our first video production.

I've been in the technical field for over 17 years now. I've done everything from repairing PCs to Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator for a large corporation and Service Manager of a PC repair firm. I've created numerous websites and graphic work for various clients. I was the original site designer and webmaster for the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department, a medium sized town in south eastern Virginia, USA. SmithfieldVFD.com achieved national recognition and over 25,000 hits in it's first year alone.

Websites are not my only passion. I also design all the graphics for my sites, giving you a total custom look and feel. I've done numerous graphic projects, everything from business cards, flyers, banners, posters, stickers, T-Shirts... you name it, I've done it.

Our first official project was for the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department, located in Southern Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You can see some of my handiwork and the first official website of Wide Slam Open on their website.
